There are numerous options for TradeStation charts.
Menus
Right-click in a chart to access a popup menu of options and actions.
Session
Set charts to show pre-market and regular session.

Customize
Set chart parameters via the Customize menu item at the bottom of the Timeframe or Style submenu. A Customize dialog appears.

Via the Settings tab of the Customize dialog, set Volume to “Trade Volume”. Set the Range to minimal data pull so that a chart display fills but has scant scroll back in time.

Via the Scaling tab of the Customize dialog, check Expand Range to include Studies. Set Sub-graph Margins to show PryPri overlays: depending on chart height, that may take some experimentation.
Studies
Manage chart studies via the Studies submenu. Add a study to a chart via Add Study.
Selectively apply studies via the Enable/Disable Studies submenu.

Customize, enable/disable (Status), or remove studies via the Edit Studies menu item, which shows a Customize dialog.

Style
The Style menu item has a submenu for managing chart style. Candle is universally used for minuting. The default settings usually suffice. But, depending upon chart size, you may want to adjust the Space to the Right, which adds padding from the rightmost bar of a candle chart. If the most recent bar is too close to the right edge of the chart, set Space to the Right to 1.
Window Settings
Set Status Line parameters as shown.

Orders Settings
Show order results to review your trades.

Unification
One way to to set the stock for a chart is to type a stock symbol in an active chart window. Instead of doing that, create a unified workspace with listening charts.
The Desktop offers a speaker-listener setup among applications. Selecting a symbol in a Scanner or Radar acts as a transmitter to listening charts, a Matrix and its Trade Bar.
There are 2 dropdown menus at the top right of a chart window. These menus appear as narrow stipes. The useful left menu is for a selected stock. The useless right menu is for chart interval.
Make a chart a local listener if the chart is on the same workspace as the speaker, or a global listener if the speaker is on a different workspace.
The link menu stripe changes from a solid line to a notched line if the chart is set as a local listener (left menu above). If the chart is set as a global listener (right menu above) the link menu stripe is notched and dual lined.
