There are numerous options for MultiCharts charts.
Menus
Right-click in a blank part of a chart. A popup menu appears, from which you can access options and actions.
A dark theme is recommended.
Format Window
Suggested settings are shown for a UHD (3840×2160) screen. Set font and bar sizes according to taste.
Tahoma has readily legible numbers.
The 1200-share bar chart is the base minuting chart. The 2400-share bar chart is the minuting context chart, where recent history may be gleaned.
The dialog above, for the 1200-share bar chart, has bar spacing set to 20. For the 2400-share bar chart, suggested bar spacing is 6: thin bars.
Settings for the status line of the 1200-share bar chart are above. As this chart houses Cockpit, make the status line font large enough for easy reading. Charter is a clean, legible screen font.

Format Instruments
Above are settings for the 1200- and 2400-share bar charts.
For scaling, set margins so that the indicators are visible. VoX shows below and above candles, so the 1200-share bar chart needs greater margins than the 2400-share bar chart.
Indicators
Right-click in a blank part of a chart. A popup menu appears. From the menu, you can insert, format (set options), and remove indicators (studies).

Format Chart Tradeing
Chart trading is not used in minuting. But you may want to see your trades on a chart. The 1200-share bar chart is recommended for showing trades. The “Format Chart Trading” menu item lets you set options for displaying trades on the chart.
Chart Trade Bar
A MultiCharts chart sports a trade bar, which is accessed via an small (barely visible) button at the top right of a chart.
Ensure that the broker profile is properly set for each chart on your minuting workspace. Clicking the ‘v’ to the right of the connection dot shows a dropdown menu for broker connection.
