DOM (depth of market): a real-time, price-ordered display of the pending buy (bid) and sell (ask) orders for a stock, typically shown as a ladder with price levels down the middle and the resting order size at each level on either side. For minuting, order book information is summarized in the Cockpit indicator. The order sizes on DOM are real-time noise.
